The Kingdom Builders Men’s Shed is a place where men gather with purpose — to connect, share life
experience and skills, and strengthen the health and well-being of men and the broader community.
Located at Kingdom Builders Campus, Battle Creek, Michigan
A Men’s Shed is more than a place—it’s a rhythm of life.
It’s where men come together to:
Build, create, and work with their hands
Share wisdom, stories, and life experience
Learn new skills or rediscover old ones
Find connection in a world that often isolates
Across the country, Men’s Sheds are helping men rediscover purpose, belonging, and brotherhood through shared activity and community.
Here, you don’t have to have it all together.
You just have to show up.
A Men’s Shed is a peer-led, community-based space where men come together voluntarily to build relationships, share skills, and remain meaningfully engaged in life and community. Participation is voluntary and self-directed.
Connection: Reducing isolation by creating opportunities for men to gather and belong.
Camaraderie: Building trust and brotherhood through shared time and experiences.
Community: Strengthening families and neighborhoods by keeping men engaged and contributing wisdom.
The Battle Creek Kingdom Builders Men’s Shed & Wellness Center is officially registered with the U.S. Men’s Shed Association as a 2025 Registered U.S. Shed. The Men’s Shed movement began in Australia and now includes thousands of sheds worldwide dedicated to improving men’s health, well-being, and social connection through community-based spaces. While affiliated with the national association, the Kingdom Builders Men’s Shed remains locally led, independent, and autonomous in its programming and operations.
This is more than a building.
More than a gathering.
It’s a reminder—
that purpose doesn’t retire,
that strength isn’t silence,
and that no man was meant to do life alone.
Welcome to the Shed.
